Cinnamon Buns

This page is dedicated to my friends Jess, Kylie, and Aaron. Without whom this flog would not exist.

$4.75 CAN – It’s a nice sized bun, soft when it’s warm which I do recommend asking them to do. I did find out after the fact that it costs an additional $3.00 for that which is overpriced in my mind (I forgot I ordered a drink when I got this). They don’t go super heavy on the frosting which I thought was nice. Some of the outer bits of the rolls were a tad dry on the inside but the core was delectable. The final few bites make you realize why cinnamon buns are a thing; the core was gooey with plenty of flavor and frosting soaked into the bun itself.

$3.75 CAN – It comes wrapped in plastic, you pick it off the shelf yourself. You don’t have any option to heat it up which disappointed me. The outer layer was a bit dry, although heated it probably would have been perfect.
Since my breakfast hadn’t come yet I didn’t have a plate so I had to eat off of the plastic wrap. The center did not have the OMG feeling the bun from Johnson’s Crossing.

$5.00 CAN – Well what can I say that hasn’t been said about these. They advertise them as “the center of the cinnamon bun universe” and they do not disappoint. It comes to you warmed, no questions asked freshly made. The exterior is gooey and delectible witb the flavor seeped into the bun evenly throughout. The consistency of the bun is something of perfection and worthy of the pride they have in it. The frosting is carefully covering the bun in an exquisite and delicious manner that one can only think was a gift from a higher being. My taste buds feel like they were taken on a trip to the stars and licked the dark chocolate center of a black hole of goodness.
