Well it’s official! I am moving out of my apartment in the end of March. I will be living in a friend’s attic throughout April until I start making my way to Alaska in May. Tomorrow, I am taking a bunch of old clothes and other things I no longer need to Goodwill and on Friday I am purchasing my future home, a MSR Freelite 2P tent. I am really excited to finally get an ultralight tent for touring; this tent packs quite well and also weighs significantly less than my other tent. Aside from those updates, right now I am just spending as much time as possible in the saddle to get in as good of shape as possible, because the first 900 kilometers are going to be rough and devoid of civilization. So I am going to need to make sure I can make it to Fairbanks before I run out of food! Anyway, that’s about all I have right now to say. Until next time, cheers!
